Cocktail Recipes

We know that not everyone likes to drink spirits straight.  We have teamed up with some of the best mixologists in Northwest Arkansas and had them make some delicious mixed drinks!  They have been gracious enough to let us share with you these recipes!  We are all about collaborating and want to recognize people have helped us along the way.  You'll see who has made these cocktail recipes and please reach out to them if you want to know more!

 

Three Finger’s and a Thumb
Whiskey Glass
Three fingers of RG MACON & CARSON Apple Brandy
A Small chip of Ice 

Brandy Berry Cobbler (NEW!)
2 oz RG MACON & CARSON Apple Brandy
.5 oz Siloam Syrups Apple Spice Simple Syrup (spiced sugar)
3-4 fresh blackberries
Sprinkle of salt to taste
1 oz of water
Crushed ice
Fresh Rosemary sprig for garnish
Directions:

  • Muddle the blackberries in a shaker
  • Fill the shake half with ice and pour in your remaining ingredients and a light pinch of salt.
  • Shake until well chilled and strain over ice into your favorite rocks glass
  • Garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary

Apple Pie Sour (NEW!)
1.5 oz RG MACON & CARSON Apple Brandy
1 oz of fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 oz of Siloam Syrups Apple Spice Simple Syrup (spiced sugar)
Directions:

  • Pour the apple brandy, lemon juice, and apple-spiced simple syrup into a shaker half filled with ice.
  • Shake vigorously until well chilled and then strain into your favorite rocks glass filled with crushed ice.
  • Garnish with a lemon twist.

APPLE OSAGE PUNCH
RG Macon & Carson Apple Brandy
One (1) oz Simple Syrup, 
2 oz Apple Cider
1/2 oz Lemon Juice
A shaving of Nutmeg

Blueberry Brandy Smash (created from A.I.)
1 1/2 cup RG Macon & Carson Apple Brandy
1/4 cup fresh blueberries
1 oz of fresh lemon juice (1 shot)
1 oz of Simple Syrup (1 shot)

Club Soda
Ice
Mint leaves (for garnish)
Directions:

  1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle the fresh blueberries.
  2. Add apple brandy, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and ice to the shaker.
  3. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  4. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice.
  5. Top with club soda and gently stir.
  6. (Optional) Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint leaves.

MEDITERANNEAN MULE
RG MACON & CARSON Fig Vodka
1 oz. Basil Syrup 
2.5 oz. Ginger Beer
1/2 oz. Lemon Juice
Add Ice and Stir

Buttery N’Apple 
Equal parts
RG MACON & CARSON Apple Brandy
Chai Syrup
Heavy Cream with Sprinkle of Nutmeg
Add Ice and….Shake Shake Shake Senora

The Ozark Rose
Falling Rock Distillery Adaptation
RG MACON & CARSON Apple Brandy
.75 oz. fresh grenadine
.50 oz. fresh lemon (or lime) juice
.50 oz of Apple Cider (Non-Fermented)
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled coupe, garnish with an apple slice (of course!)

(Off the) “Big Red” Wagon
Falling Rock Distillery Adaptation
RG MACON & CARSON Apple Brandy
1 oz Fine Oloroso sherry
.5 oz Rich simple syrup*
1/3 cup of Pasteurized Egg Whites
3 dashes nutmeg for garnish or Grated Nutmeg
Directions:

  • Use shaker to mix liquid ingredients completely with crushed ice and strain into a double Old-Fashioned glass.
  • Grate or sprinkle nutmeg over the top.
  • *Rich simple syrup: Add twice the volume of sugar to water. Either heat the two or simply shake hard to dissolve sugar, and store in refrigerator between uses.

BFD Manhattan

RG MACON & CARSON Apple Brandy
1 oz. Sweet Vermouth
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Twist of Orange Peel
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled metal cup
Garnish with three brandied cherries on a pick
